Again, right on.Shippers and receivers are lazy and don't give a shit - especially about the distribution of their own products. Just throw it on the truck and let the driver take care of it. And the carriers say and do nothing because they want the business.
Overweight loads? Shippers MUST be held responsible - and no one else! Ever pick up a load and have to drive 75 miles or more to a legal scale? It happens to me all the time. If I have to drive back I want that "shipper" to pay mileage and detention and an overweight fine. You're telling me these lazy lying cocksuckers don't know how much their product weighs? Bullshit!
Mexicans? They're all over the damn place. I don't give a rats ass. They're certainly more motivated to load or unload my truck than most of the lazy chain smoking rednecks and black old farts that don't give a shit. I could even learn a little Spanish. But, if you're not in my country legally, then get out. Who should be held responsible? The companies that hire these folks of course. Fine and arrest the managers and owners. Free all the prostitutes and grass smokers and give the cells to these lying cocksuckers. And I totally support local and state law enforcement to have the authority to arrest illegals.
We all know that the DOT and Homeland Security (a "Bushism" I hate) is comprised of morons and pinheads. Ever go through that boondoggle called the "agriculture checkpoint" at the Florida borders. One of my goals this year is to see that flatbed trucks never have to stop here again. They should stick to what I paying taxes for them to do - check horses for ticks and flowers for bugs. The ports are a complete joke.
How about the weigh stations in North Carolina?Are they kidding? They haven't been updated since the 60's. Hey, we have Pre Pass now. Even L-o-u-i-s-i-a-n-a has a better system. How about the NC rest areas? When is this loon backwater yokel state going to get their act together? Here's a idea - close all the NC weigh stations forever. The DOT employees can get jobs cleaning the toilets in the new larger rest areas. The NC state police will have to stop masturbating inside while pretending to weigh trucks and get out there and catch illegals.
