520 miles today. The place I park my trailer had me blocked in this morning. They wanted to make sure I paid. I have compensated them accurately and in cash for the past two years. Many other apparently have not. They are being careful. Times are tough. I guess I can't blame them, but it delayed me getting to my shipper in Jacksonville by about 1 hour. That put me smack in the middle of morning rush hour made worse by construction and a broken down straight job truck in the middle of the interstate. I got to JAX, picked up the load, got around Macon and decided to call it a day before ATL. I'm at exit 201 off I75 at the T/A. Being at a T/A means having to put up with yet another miserable dangerous unrepaired parking lot. If I were the manager of this facility, even with a limited budget, I would get a couple of folks with shovels and rakes to at least fill in these holes.
