Not bad, not bad...

for a "rookie" politician from Alaska, who until last Friday, most people hadn't heard of. Matt Scully wrote the speech, but it was all "her." She certainly rose to the occasion. Former NYC Mayor opened for her and did a good job "warming up" the RNC crowd. Chris Wallace (Fox News) said "A star was born." I don't know if that's the case, but she is certainly more "appealing" than many of the other politicians I have heard speak at either convention. And, I've always been very impressed at anyone who can effectively sell themselves speaking in front of millions of people and the media. And that includes Senator Obama. The credit for the photo is Jeff Schultz of Anchorage, AK. I'm sure Governor Palin doesn't mind if I use it. Good night from Geary, Oklahoma.
