Former Miss America, now Fox & Friends anchor Gretchen Wilson, referred this morning to the War in Iraq as "the situation." Later in the broadcast she was scheduled to interview Gen. Odierno, the current commander of multi-national forces in Iraq. I had more important things to do and did not hear it. Although, Wilson is a honors graduate of Stanford University, she sits between two of the most stupid men in television news - weatherman Steve Doocy and sportscaster Brian Kilmeade. Unfortunately, at times, their ignorance bleeds over in both directions and affects Ms. Wilson's accuracy and fairness. The war in Iraq is still a war. It is not "the situation." Let's honor the thousands of men and women that have been killed or injured by calling the war a war.
