The fundamentals of our economy ARE very strong." We hit a very rough spot, but because, just like you said - the fundamentals are strong - of course we will recover. It is already happening. Did you see how the market did today? The Dow gained 936 points! The largest surge in the market since the 1930's, according to The New York Times. In Paris and Frankfurt, stocks had their biggest one-day gains ever, rising more than 11 percent. Apparently, the fundamentals of Europe's economy are strong as well. Stand by what you said Sen. McCain and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
