All hell breaks loose in Mumbai...Mumbai? Where...

the hell is Mumbai? That would be India. The New York Times is slow to give information about what is going on. The AP (Associated Press) is slightly better.

If you go to The Times 0f India website you can get up to the minute reports of what is happening. Mumbai used to be called Bombay. It is the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of India. Their port handles 1/2 of India's maritime cargo. 19,000,000 people live there and it is the world's 5th most populated metropolitan area.

So, now that you know where and what Mumbai is, here's what happening in a nutshell - extremist Muslim terrorists, targeting British and American citizens, attacked hotels, restaurants, a hospital and a train station. 80 people are now reported dead, although that number is changing and over 200 folks were reportedly being held hostage. Several buildings are on fire, the cause still unknown. Commandos from the Indian Army, Navy and police have counter attacked. The situation is changing minute by minute.
