There is no American that wants Mexican trucks and their drivers in our country. Could we have a do-over, the same would apply to Canadian trucks and their drivers. We're all tired of NAFTA and all this cross-border nonsense. Bush's DOT, FMSCA, and his entire Department of Transportation needs to be overhauled and Mary Peters needs to disappear like Casper the Ghost. Although not politically correct, let's be honest and upfront - we've all had enough of Mexicans and the entire immigration issue. Bush never had a any clear idea of how to handle the problem, the Democrats are no better and we can only hope President-elect Obama can do a better job, although after 3 days he already has his hands quite full with the economy. But, illegal Mexicans living and working in this country are like a reoccurring bad rash. Combined with the lunacy of sanctuary cities and States like North Carolina issuing drivers licenses like free maps at a rest area - Americans want Mexicans to do just one thing - STAY OUT! And, as an OTR truck driver whose income is now 1/2 that of a year ago, I don't care how safe Mexicans and their trucks are - STAY OUT! I - "we" - just don't want you here.
