The HOT topic on the "Land Line" site is that "bee thing" - see my earlier post (Oct. 31st) on that nonsense. Nothing on Sen. Obama being the 44th President of the United States. I don't see any African-Americans on their current Board of Directors. I'm not surprised. Look at the photos of their directors - looks like the trustees at the local Mormon Temple. I wonder if any of them are Gay?
By the way, what's with that Mark Elrod character? "Come listen to my story, bout a man named "Elrod", a poor mountaineer barely kept his family fed, then one day, while he's shoot'n at some food, up from the ground came-a bubbling crude!" Do you think he has any teeth?
Hey, in that November '08 "issue" is another "piece" by Dave Sweeney. A "Knights of the Road" column. How he, wonderful Dave Sweeney, stops to help people on the road. Give me a break! Hey Dave, it's almost 2009! Knights of Road are dead. They're 50's, like Elvis and Sock Hops. Stop trying to resurrect them. Can you say l-i-t-i-g-i-o-u-s? As in that's what our country is all about!
I don't ever stop to help anyone. Why? Because someone will get hurt - maybe seriously. A big rig on the side of the road is DANGEROUS! My truck will never stop on the side of the road - unless I get a flat. You're a moron, Dave, for trying to be a freaking hero. If anything goes wrong and there is a real good chance something will, I guarantee you that there will be someone - somewhere with a cell phone camera recording everything - and you - Dave Sweeney - will be held completely responsible. Even if you did nothing wrong. Because, Dave, you're parked on the side of the road helping some poor moron who doesn't have AAA. And you're a truck driver and should know better. Say adios to your million dollar rig. Wise up Dave and stop trying to be a hero.
Oh, by the way Dave, I heard you on Evan Lockridge and you're even more boring on the radio than in your column. Zzzzzzzz.
