Made no difference. I paid about $4 for a thing of Folgers coffee the other day at another T/A somewhere. Here the same product is $7! Most of the cold and flu medications and aspirin. etc. are over twice the price of anywhere else. I didn’t bother walking around the chrome shop “store.”
For the second time, I couldn’t being myself to eat in the food court. There is a Wendy’s – Taco Bell – Pizza Hut and OJ place. Onto the buffet. The fried chicken a little better, but I suspect that these birds died a long time ago and were frozen somewhere long before they got here. Some kind of white rice was ok. But everything was overcooked and tasteless. The meatloaf tasted like anything but and just like last night everything on the salad bar was terrible.
The service, again for the second night in a row, was 3rd rate. The tables not clean. I got my own silverware. I should have poured my own drink. All the “servers” spend way too much time entertaining themselves and not the customers. If there was any dessert available, I didn’t see it.
I’ve got to get out of here tomorrow and just like I said yesterday, this is my last time here.
