Let me just reinforce that I am not a liberal nor a conservative. I am not a Democrat nor a Republican. If I have to label myself anything, I probably consider myself aligned with more libertarian philosophies than anything else. Yes, I did vote for Obama.
That said, I’ve got to admit, I love Rush Limbaugh. He is one of my heroes. I used to listen to him all the time. I can’t anymore because I’m limited to the political programming on Sirius/XM. I rarely if ever listen to “terrestrial” radio.
I didn’t ever take much time to agree or disagree with Rush, I just enjoyed listening to him more as an entertainer than a political commentator. Howard Stern says that Rush doesn’t have the “pull” that he (Stern) had to bring over millions of listeners to satellite radio. He is totally wrong. Not only would Rush bring more “followers” than Stern mustered, but I personally would pay extra just to hear his show on Sirius/XM.
Now “Rushbo” spoke today (concurrently broadcast on CRBN – that’s FOX, the Conservative Republican Broadcasting Network) at CPAC. That’s the Conservative Political Action Conference. I have provided you with a snippet below. And it was grand entertainment. I love the fact that “El Rushbo” didn’t wear a tie. But bottom line, and this goes for all the whining Conservatives out there, they never tell the American public what they “specifically” would do to get us out of this “decession” we’re in. And until that happens, well, they might as well be “spit'n in the wind.”
