with Daschle. And with Nancy Killefer. And with Rick Warren. Well not with Warren, but he should have. We’re three weeks into the Obama administration. Right now the whole bailout thing is stalled by Republican dissent. The arguments I agree with. Their failure to present something better is typical Washington nonsense. It’s what we’re trying to change. So my advise to President Obama is move on. Put up a post-it-note on your bathroom mirror to remind yourself not to pick folks for cabinet positions who don’t pay their taxes. Order your subordinates to do a better job of “vetting” candidates. I think we could have done better than Geithner and Holder. You got them through. But let’s try to do better, please.
