10 hours before I had to leave again to deliver a load to Wisconsin. I had been OTR for a month. Thanks to Mrs. Grumpy who rushed doing all my laundry, went grocery shopping for me, called to arrange for secure truck parking and ordered my favorite Chinese dinner. She made sure I had delicious leftovers for 3 days. The pork spare ribs, even after two days in the frig, were delicious after 3 minutes in the microwave. Anyway, I was not about to turn down a 1350 mile trip from Florida. I can arrange to come back next week. After delivery, I went somewhere (I don't remember) to pick up lighting to Mineola, NY. When I delivered a day early, the receiver gave me a $200 "tip." Now Mrs. Grumpy can buy some new Crocs. The photo is by V. Grumpy. By the way, you know you're part of a trucking family when, after a month on the road, they push you out the door to pick up a trip with good paid miles.
