I don't care...

what OOIDA or anyone else says about the April 1st shut-down or slow down, it was a utter complete failure. The little that did (supposedly) happen, according to the not fair or balanced trucking media, was completely transparent to the American public, who couldn't care less about truckers and their problems. While I was cruising along at 60 mph, the majority of trucks flew past me 10-15 miles a hour faster, despite the posted speed limits. I saw no slow convoys, I heard of no shut-downs and it was very much business as usual. The AP photo - from the BBC News is of a "real" truckers (lorry drivers) shut-down 3/11/02 in France.
