at the Exxon truck stop off US78 in Belden, MS. There is a small restaurant here that makes you wish the ole days of trucking were back. This is not a "travel stop." There is plenty of room to park. There are no painted lines. There is no local "Barnie" making sure everyone behaves. There is one cook and one waitress. A large glass of "real" Coke and a double bacon cheeseburger (all the way) with fries is $6.95. There is a juke box with Alan Jackson playing. There are no tired, hungry, cranky tourists here. All the RV's bypass this place headed to Taledega. This is the way it should be. There is no stress here. It is a great place to come in off the road and "recover."
