Are you so financially stable that you can afford to have your rigs operate getting 5.0 - 5.5 miles a gallon? I used to drive doubles for RPS - now FEDEX . The contractor who owned the truck could not offer me health insurance. I think I cleared about $400 a week. Why don't you slow the trucks down and compensate your drivers better? Today, between Atlanta and Tupelo, my mpg was 7.3!
