Stewardesses, better known these days by their PC (politically correct) monicker of flight attendant need to be taken down a few pegs on the value list. Most are women, most of the others are gay men. I'll take the gay guys over the gals. Stewardesses must go to the same charm school as the clerks and waitresses at Pilot and T/A. I used to fly a lot. The only stewardesses who deserved the title worked for international carriers. Like toll takers and cops who point radar guns at us, the job of a stewardess is for morons. When we re-regulate the airlines let's put all the stewardesses in their proper place - as glorified waitresses. So why am I going on about this? Well, a couple I respect - the Osteen's - specifically Victoria Osteen, wife of Joel is in somewhat of sticky wicket. Seems she allegedly "pushed" (in anger and frustration?) a Continental "flight attendant" three years ago. The flight attendant is suing for what else - money. Joel is the co-pastor of the 42,000 member mega-tv Lakewood Church in Houston. The whole situation is absurd. If Victoria did push the "flight attendant" because of a stain on her seat, more power to her. I think a swift kick in the butt would have been more appropriate. This suit represents the idiocy of our screwed up legal system. It should have been thrown out right after the papers were filed with the clerk.
