I'm going to be "road" testing the new Verizon UM150 USB modem along with Verizon's "nationwide" wi-fi service. As you know, I've been limited to Flying J's wi-fi $4.95 a day service as well as the occasional free limited availability of wi-fi service from a local motel or other low power source. The Verizon cell service is good 95% of the time, so hopefully I can get Internet access a lot more than I do now. Also, I'm tired of the vast religious right wing conspiracy interfering with my Sirius/XM service. I ordered an FM direct adapter (FMDA25) which according to the box "Eliminates outside static and interference sometimes experienced with a wireless FM connection." I hope it works. I go through Nashville a lot. I have yet to go from one side to the other of Nashville without having to turn off Sirius and either listen to regular radio or (worse) turn the CB on for company. The ultimate test then will be Nashville. As an aside, next month should be the initial roll out of the combined Sirius/XM service package. The photo credit is
