If it were you or me…

we’d be behind bars. This is Bernard Madoff who is under “house arrest” living in his $7 million NYC apartment. He’s the guy that swindled investors out of $50 billion bucks. He’s the guy behind that “ponzi” scheme you’ve heard so much about. Last week he was caught mailing $1 million of jewelry to friends and family in violation of a court order. On Jan. 12th a judge will rule whether or not he should be jailed.

This whole “house arrest” thing is ridiculous. He belongs in an orange jump suit at Rikers Island in a cell. Does he get to stay at home because he is rich and white? Or rich, white and a Jew? The Jews that lost millions, I’m sure would like to see him drawn and quartered, let alone in prison. This crook, no matter what his religion, is a scumbag and if and when convicted should be sentenced to a life term working in the prison laundry to repay what he stole. I guarantee you that if this were you or me, we would not be staying at home awaiting trial.
