Kilcarr is yet another example of the kiss ass media we have in the trucking industry. “They” make me sick. I almost threw up when I read this post. Read it for yourself at http://blog.fleetowner.c om/trucks_at_work/.
No mention of why we’re not getting paid more and nothing about unfunded mandates. Kilcarr does not represent the trucker, he plays for the other side – management, and at times, even worse, the government. His blog piece is clear evidence of this.
Kilcarr writes about Hill (former Administrator of the FMSCA) “His approach to trucking safety mirrors the way a police officer patrols a neighborhood beat: Focus on the trouble spots until they are cleared up. He quotes Hill: “In 29 and one-half years of police work, I can tell you from my experience that in any neighborhood a limited population causes almost all the problems,” Hill explained to me a couple of years ago.”
