If you fuel up, you get a cup of coffee and a discounted meal. Two waitresses with a great sense of humor who know what they’re doing. Great food. Homemade soup with “real” veggies. I almost forgot what a fresh carrot tastes like. Fountain soda. Good company. No Fox News. A huge burger and hot crispy fries. Ketchup, mustard and mayo on the table. I love this place. Just like the ‘ole days before “travel” centers and cookie cutter fast food “restaurants.” I enjoyed the experience so much, I had to take a “memory” shot of where I was. I took the photo with my Blackberry, then posted it to the blog. You could say it was the best of the past and the best of the present.
