Bring all of our troops home already. Not by the next Super Bowl, but NOW. And abandon that ridiculous over priced “embassy” Bush built in Bagdad.
Leave behind the best Special Forces specialists, the CIA and the most advanced “spy technology” to keep an “eye” and an “ear” on things. Use a really powerful satellite - not our soldiers lives.
Afghanistan is a no-mans land – a no-win proposition. A waste of our time and money. Let someone else fight that fight. The money we desperately need spend here in the good ‘ole USA, not on killing the Tal-ee-ban, who seem to just pop up again and again despite how many we blow up. They’re just like roaches and you know you can’t ever kill all of them. They’ve been around forever and will continue to be around forever. Just keep the “light” on watching them from Virginia not with boots on the ground.
If the Tal-ee-ban wants Afghanistan, let ‘em have it. If folks want out, they can move to Iraq. Didn’t we “suppress” the Tal-ee-ban once by bombing the hell out of ‘em. We had the opportunity to kill most of ‘em, but Bush screwed up and invaded Iraq. Ok, so Saddam is gone. Whatever. But we need to move on, drive electric cars and forget this whole “ugly” part of the world.
