Home of the bailout…

detroit Motor City. Detroit. I actually like this place. It should be the “jewel” city of the United States. Instead, its roads are terrible and the garbage overwhelming. Crime and unemployment are very high. A long time of neglect by the “big” three auto manufacturers is apparent. This is one of the worst places to cross over into  Canada and then come back into the US. The US Customs/Homeland Security folks here need a major attitude adjustment.

I delivered this morning to Warren MI. I had expected to head over North of Toronto and then down to Laredo. And then my carrier seems to have had a brain fart. Somehow I ended up with a crappy trip from Flint to Connecticut to deliver Monday morning to a Home Depot. Did you ever deliver to a Home Depot? One of the worst places to deal with as a truck driver. Four days and about 725 miles. So much for the “uptick” in freight.
