So if Obama gets elected and is assassinated or if McCain gets elected and dies in office, who are we going to be stuck with as the new President? We have two high risk candidates, one because of color and the other because of age. Their choice of VP is critical. I'm on the fence as to who to vote for. The choice of VP most definitely will move me to the left or right. I still believe that the "ticket" of Hillary Clinton for President with Obama as VP would have been the ideal scenario, but that, unfortunately, is not to be. If McCain chooses Lieberman, for example, I wouldn't vote for the Republicans under any circumstances. And McCain selecting a running mate based on that individuals position on abortion is absurd. For me, it's all about the "war" on terrorism, the economy and health insurance. I need someone who is going to be able to hit the ground running as President, should something happen. Is that Tom Ridge? or Romney? Pawlenty? Perhaps Rush Limbaugh should man up and help his cronies out and run with McCain? What about Bayh for Obama? Biden? Kaine? Reed, Dodd or Sebelius? Bloomberg? A New York Jew and an African-American - together - running? No way! I don't dislike Lieberman or Bloomberg because they're Jews, I dislike them because of their politics. None of them - that would be all the VP possibilities - spark too much excitement in me. Again, one of these folks could be the next President. How does President Joe Biden sound to you? And then, if you think we're in trouble now, just wait until that happens. You'll be begging for Georgie Bush to leave the ranch. Remember Dan Quayle? So we wait to see what happens.
